Horchata is an ancient herbal infusion, the recipe has been passed down through generations to the present. Some of its ingredients cannot be found in any other places in the entire world as they are grown in the Andean region of Ecuador.
It can be consumed hot, warm or with ice as a refreshing drink with a splash of lemon and honey or sweetener of your choice.
Ingredients: herb blend of: apple geranium, amaranth, mint, melissa, lemongrass, basil, escancel, lemon balm, chamomile, lemon verbena, essence of roses, linseed.
INFUSION: add the contents of the bag (1 ounce) to four litters of boiling water, stir and cover with a lid. Let it stand for 15-20 minutes, strain. Additionally add a splash of lemon or lime *optional* and honey or sweetener of your choice. ENJOY!
